Ingredients

  • 6 whole Passion fruits
  • 4 cups Water
  • 2 tablespoons Granulated sugar
  • 1 cup Ice cubes
  • 4 leaves Mint leaves (optional, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Cut each passion fruit in half and scoop out the pulp and seeds using a spoon. Place the pulp into a blender.

Step 2

Pour the water into the blender with the passion fruit pulp.

Step 3

Blend the mixture on low speed for about 5-10 seconds to release the juice from the seeds. Be careful not to overblend as it may break the seeds and alter the flavor.

Step 4

Strain the blended mixture using a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth over a bowl to separate the juice from the seeds. Discard the seeds.

Step 5

Transfer the strained juice back into the blender and add the granulated sugar. Blend for a few seconds until the sugar is dissolved.

Step 6

Add the ice cubes to the blender and blend again until the juice is chilled.

Step 7

Pour the juice into glasses and garnish with mint leaves if desired. Serve immediately for maximum freshness.
