Ingredients

  • 300 grams Mushrooms
  • 30 grams Fresh parsley
  • 120 grams Breadcrumbs
  • 1 large Egg
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1 medium Shallot
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoons Black pepper
  • 50 grams All-purpose flour

Directions

Step 1

Clean the mushrooms by wiping them with a damp cloth. Chop them finely and set aside.

Step 2

Finely chop the parsley, shallot, and garlic.

Step 3

Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the shallot and garlic, sauté for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.

Step 4

Add the chopped mushrooms to the skillet and cook for about 5-6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the moisture has evaporated. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.

Step 5

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked mushroom mixture, breadcrumbs, chopped parsley, and egg. Season with salt and black pepper. Mix thoroughly to form a cohesive mixture.

Step 6

Shape the mixture into 8 equal-sized patties, pressing firmly to ensure they hold together.

Step 7

Place the flour on a plate and lightly coat each patty with flour on both sides.

Step 8

Heat the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties in batches for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.

Step 9

Transfer the patties to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

Step 10

Serve warm as is, or pair with a side salad, a dollop of sour cream, or a dipping sauce of your choice.
