Ingredients

  • 500 grams ground beef
  • 250 grams ground pork
  • 120 grams breadcrumbs
  • 120 milliliters milk
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 30 grams parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 large egg
  • 15 milliliters Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 60 grams ketchup
  • 15 grams brown sugar
  • 5 grams mustard

Directions

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease a muffin tin if you'd like individual servings.

Step 2

In a small bowl, combine the breadcrumbs and milk. Let them sit for 5 minutes to allow the breadcrumbs to absorb the liquid.

Step 3

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, soaked breadcrumbs, finely chopped onion, parsley, egg, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently with your hands or a spoon until just combined. Do not overmix.
