Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 0.5 cup All-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup Softened unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon Minced garlic
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Chopped fresh parsley
  • 0.5 teaspoon Paprika

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, combine the grated Parmesan cheese, all-purpose flour, softened butter, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.

Step 3

Use a spatula or your hands to mix the ingredients until a cohesive dough forms. If the dough feels too dry, add a teaspoon of water at a time until it comes together.

Step 4

Divide the dough into two equal portions and roll each portion into a cylinder about 1 inch in diameter. Wrap the cylinders tightly in plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

Step 5

Once chilled, unwrap the dough and slice into rounds about 1/4 inch thick. Arrange the slices evenly on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each piece.

Step 6

Sprinkle the rounds lightly with paprika for added flavor and color.

Step 7

Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown and the rounds are crisp.

Step 8

Remove from the oven and let the Parmesan rounds cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Step 9

Garnish with fresh parsley before serving, if desired. Serve warm or at room temperature.
