  • 0.5 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Additional Parmesan cheese (for topping)
  • 0.25 teaspoon Additional black pepper (for topping)

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, sugar, salt, black pepper, and instant yeast. Stir to evenly distribute the dry ingredients.

Step 2

In a separate bowl, whisk together the warm water, melted butter, and egg until well combined.

Step 3

Gradually pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, mixing with a spatula or wooden spoon until a sticky dough begins to form.

Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese into the dough and knead it gently by hand or using a stand mixer with a dough hook attachment. Knead for about 8–10 minutes, or until the dough becomes smooth and elastic.
