  • 0.33 cups Ketchup
  • 1 tablespoons Brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoons Dijon mustard

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease a loaf pan.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, egg, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, milk, chopped onion, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and ground black pepper.

Step 3

Use clean hands to gently mix all the ingredients together until just combined. Avoid overmixing to ensure the meat loaf stays tender.

Shape the mixture into a loaf shape and place it on the prepared baking sheet or press it evenly into the loaf pan.

Step 5

In a small bowl, whisk together the ketchup, brown sugar, and Dijon mustard to create the glaze.

Step 6

Spread the glaze evenly over the top of the meat loaf, covering it completely.

Step 7

Bake in the preheated oven for 55-60 minutes, or until the internal temperature reads 160°F (71°C) on a meat thermometer.

Step 8

Remove the meat loaf from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Step 9

Serve alongside mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or a crisp salad for a complete meal.
