Ingredients

  • 1 lb Chicken tenders
  • 0.5 cup Parmesan cheese, finely grated
  • 1 cup Panko breadcrumbs
  • 0.5 cup All-purpose flour
  • 2 whole Eggs
  • 2 tbsp Milk
  • 2 tbsp Fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Dried oregano
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil or cooking spray

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Lightly grease the parchment paper with olive oil or cooking spray.

Step 2

Set up three separate shallow bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs mixed with milk, and the third with a mixture of panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and black pepper.

Step 3

Pat the chicken tenders dry with paper towels. Dredge each tender in the flour, ensuring it is evenly coated. Shake off any excess flour.

Step 4

Dip the floured chicken tender into the egg mixture, allowing any excess egg to drip off.

Step 5

Press the chicken tender into the breadcrumb mixture, coating it thoroughly on all sides.

Step 6

Place the coated chicken tenders onto the prepared baking sheet in a single layer, ensuring they do not touch each other.

Step 7

Lightly drizzle the tops of the chicken tenders with olive oil or spray with cooking spray for extra crispiness.

Step 8

Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken tenders are golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

Step 9

Remove from the oven and let the chicken tenders cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Step 10

Serve with your favorite dipping sauces, such as ranch, honey mustard, or marinara.
