Ingredients

  • 3 cups All-purpose flour
  • 2.25 teaspoons Instant yeast
  • 2 tablespoons Granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Warm milk (110°F/43°C)
  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 0.5 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons Chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, instant yeast, sugar, and salt.

Add the warm milk, melted butter, and egg to the dry ingredients. Stir until the mixture begins to form a sticky dough.

Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and knead for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic. Alternatively, use a stand mixer with a dough hook for 5-6 minutes.

Place the kneaded dough into a greased bowl and cover with a damp kitchen towel or plastic wrap. Allow it to rise in a warm spot for 1 hour or until it doubles in size.
