  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups chicken stock
  • 0.75 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
  • 4 cups egg noodles or rice (optional, for serving)

Directions

Step 1

Season the chicken thighs on both sides with the salt and black pepper.

In a large heavy skillet or Dutch oven, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken thighs, skin-side down, and sear until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes per side. Remove the chicken and set aside.
