Ingredients

  • 4 medium Russet potatoes
  • 3 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon Chili powder (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with olive oil.

Step 2

Wash and scrub the potatoes thoroughly to remove any dirt. Leave the skin on for extra crispiness and flavor.

Step 3

Cut each potato into wedges by first slicing it in half lengthwise, then cutting each half into 3-4 wedged slices depending on the size of the potato.

Step 4

Place the potato wedges in a large mixing bowl. Add the olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, dried oregano, salt, black pepper, and chili powder (if using). Toss until all wedges are evenly coated.

Step 5

Spread the seasoned potato wedges out in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, making sure not to overcrowd them to ensure even cooking.

Step 6

Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, flipping the wedges halfway through, until they are golden and crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.

Step 7

Remove the wedges from the oven and let them cool for 2-3 minutes. Sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley for garnish.

Step 8

Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce or as a delicious side dish.
