Ingredients

  • 1 pound Chicken tenders
  • 0.5 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked paprika
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 2 tablespoons Milk
  • 1 cup Panko breadcrumbs
  • 0.25 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 0.5 cup Vegetable oil (for frying)

Directions

Step 1

Prepare three shallow bowls or plates for dredging. In the first bowl, combine the flour, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.

Step 2

In the second bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk until fully combined.

Step 3

In the third bowl, mix the panko breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese.

Step 4

Pat dry the chicken tenders with paper towels to remove excess moisture.

Step 5

Dredge a chicken tender in the seasoned flour, ensuring it’s fully coated. Shake off any excess.

Step 6

Dip the floured chicken tender into the egg mixture, allowing any excess to drip off.

Step 7

Finally, coat the chicken tender in the panko-Parmesan mixture, pressing gently to adhere the breadcrumbs.

Step 8

Repeat the process for all the chicken tenders and place them on a plate or tray.

Step 9

Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. The oil should shimmer but not smoke.

Step 10

Working in batches, fry the chicken tenders for 3–4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Internal temperature should reach 165°F (74°C).

Step 11

Transfer the cooked chicken tenders to a plate lined with paper towels to drain any excess oil.

Step 12

Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauces, such as honey mustard, ranch, or barbecue sauce.
