Ingredients

  • 250 grams Paneer
  • 4 pieces Whole wheat tortillas
  • 1 medium Red bell pepper
  • 1 medium Green bell pepper
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 1 medium Tomato
  • 2 tablespoons Cilantro
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon Red chili powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garam masala
  • 0.5 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Oil
  • 0.5 piece Lemon
  • 4 tablespoons Mint chutney

Directions

Step 1

Cut the paneer into small cubes. Thinly slice the red and green bell peppers and the onion. Chop the tomato and cilantro finely.

Step 2

Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and allow them to sizzle for a few seconds.

Step 3

Add the sliced onions and sauté until they become translucent.

Step 4

Add the ginger garlic paste and sauté for another minute until aromatic.

Step 5

Introduce the bell peppers to the pan and cook for 3-4 minutes until they are slightly softened.

Step 6

Add chopped tomatoes, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, and salt. Stir well and cook until the tomatoes soften.

Step 7

Add the paneer cubes and cook for another 3-4 minutes, ensuring that the paneer is well coated with the spices and vegetables.

Step 8

Turn off the heat and add chopped cilantro. Squeeze the juice of half a lemon over the mixture and mix well. Set aside.

Step 9

Warm each whole wheat tortilla on a skillet for about 1 minute on each side until they are soft.

Step 10

Spread a tablespoon of mint chutney over each tortilla.

Step 11

Place a portion of the paneer mixture in the center of each tortilla.

Step 12

Roll the tortilla tightly, enclosing the filling, to form a wrap.

Step 13

Repeat the process with the remaining tortillas and paneer mixture.

Step 14

Cut the paneer rolls in half, if desired, and serve warm.
