Ingredients

  • 250 grams Paneer (Indian cottage cheese)
  • 1 cup Gram flour (besan)
  • 1 teaspoon Red chili powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Carom seeds (ajwain)
  • 0.5 teaspoon Garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.75 cup Water
  • 2 cups Oil
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 0.5 teaspoon Chaat masala
  • 4 tablespoons Green chutney

Directions

Step 1

Cut the paneer into 1-inch cubes. Set aside.

In a mixing bowl, combine gram flour, red chili powder, turmeric powder, carom seeds, garam masala, and salt.

Gradually add water to the dry ingredients, stirring continuously to make a smooth, thick batter. Ensure no lumps remain.
