Ingredients

  • 250 grams Paneer
  • 2 tablespoons Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • 1 medium Onion, finely chopped
  • 2 medium Tomato, pureed
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 unit Green chili, finely chopped
  • 0.5 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon Red chili powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Garam masala powder
  • 4 tablespoons Heavy cream
  • to taste Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves, chopped
  • 0.5 cup Water

Directions

Step 1

Cut the paneer into 1-inch cubes and set aside.

Step 2

Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat.

Step 3

Add cumin seeds and allow them to splutter.

Step 4

Add the finely chopped onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.

Add the ginger-garlic paste and green chili, and sauté for another minute until the raw smell disappears.

Stir in the pureed tomatoes and cook until the oil separates from the mixture.

Add turmeric, coriander, and red chili powders, and mix well.
