Ingredients

  • 200 grams Paneer (cottage cheese)
  • 12 Ready-made canapé shells
  • 0.5 cup Capsicum (finely chopped)
  • 0.5 cup Tomato (deseeded and finely chopped)
  • 0.25 cup Onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 Green chili (finely chopped, optional)
  • 2 tbsp Coriander leaves (finely chopped)
  • 1 tsp Ginger (grated)
  • 0.5 tsp Cumin powder
  • 0.5 tsp Chaat masala
  • 0.25 tsp Salt
  • 0.25 tsp Black pepper powder
  • 1 tbsp Butter (for sautéing)
  • 0.25 cup Grated cheese (for topping)
  • 2 tbsp Tomato ketchup (for garnish, optional)

Directions

Step 1

Cut the paneer into small cubes and set aside.

Step 2

Heat butter in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Add the grated ginger and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.

Add the finely chopped onion, capsicum, and tomato to the pan. Cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly softened.

Stir in the cumin powder, chaat masala, salt, and black pepper powder. Mix well.

Add the paneer cubes to the pan and cook for another 2-3 minutes, letting the spices coat the paneer evenly.
