Ingredients

  • 250 grams Paneer
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 tablespoon Oil
  • 1 medium Onion, finely chopped
  • 1 cup Tomato Puree
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger-Garlic Paste
  • 1 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander Powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Garam Masala
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Kasuri Methi (Dried Fenugreek Leaves)
  • 0.25 cup Heavy Cream
  • 0.5 teaspoon Sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Coriander Leaves, chopped
  • 0.5 cup Water

Directions

Step 1

Cut the paneer into cubes about 1-inch each and set aside.

Step 2

Heat 1 tablespoon of butter and oil in a pan over medium heat.

Step 3

Add the chopped onions and sauté until transparent.

Step 4

Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for another 2 minutes until the raw smell disappears.

Stir in the tomato puree, red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, and salt. Cook until the oil starts to separate from the mixture.

Add water to the tomato-onion masala and let it simmer for 5-7 minutes on medium heat.
