Ingredients

  • 4 pieces haddock fillets
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.5 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill
  • 1 tablespoon capers

Directions

Step 1

Pat the haddock fillets dry with paper towels and season on both sides with salt and black pepper.

Step 2

Dredge the fillets lightly in all-purpose flour and shake off any excess.

Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Add the haddock fillets to the skillet and cook for 3–4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the fillets from the skillet and set aside on a plate.
