Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground beef (80/20)
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper
  • 0.25 tsp Garlic powder
  • 0.25 tsp Onion powder
  • 12 Mini burger buns
  • 6 Cheese slices
  • 2 tbsp Butter (melted)
  • 6 Lettuce leaves (optional)
  • 12 slices Pickles (sliced, optional)
  • 0.25 cup Ketchup
  • 0.25 cup Mustard

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) for toasting mini buns.

Step 2

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix well but avoid overworking the meat.

Step 3

Divide the mixture into 12 equal portions and shape into small patties about 2 inches in diameter.

Step 4

Heat a large skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 2-3 minutes per side or until they are fully cooked with an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).

While the patties cook, prepare the toppings and slice the cheese slices in half to fit the mini burgers.
