Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels and season them evenly with salt and black pepper.
In a large oven-safe skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
Place the chicken thighs skin-side down in the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes, or until the skin is golden and crispy. Flip and cook for another 3 minutes on the other side.
