Ingredients

  • 2 oz Tequila Blanco
  • 0.5 oz Freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 4 oz Grapefruit soda
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 cup Ice cubes
  • 1 piece Grapefruit wedge
  • 1 piece Lime wedge

Directions

Step 1

Begin by rimming a highball glass with salt. To do this, rub the outside rim of the glass with a lime wedge, then dip the rim into a shallow plate of salt.

Step 2

Fill the glass with ice cubes until about three-quarters full.

Step 3

Pour 2 oz of tequila Blanco into the glass.

Step 4

Add 0.5 oz of freshly squeezed lime juice to the glass.

Step 5

Top the cocktail with 4 oz of grapefruit soda, such as Jarritos or Squirt, to fill the glass.

Step 6

Gently stir the drink with a bar spoon to combine all the ingredients.

Step 7

Garnish with a grapefruit wedge and a lime wedge on the rim of the glass.
