  • 8 ounces Tempeh (organic, soy-free)
  • 3 tablespoons Coconut aminos
  • 2 tablespoons Avocado oil
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon Sea salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2

Slice the soy-free tempeh into very thin strips, about 1/8-inch thick. Use a sharp knife or a mandoline slicer for consistency.

Step 3

In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the coconut aminos, avocado oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, sea salt, and black pepper.

Step 4

Add the sliced tempeh to the bowl and gently toss to coat all pieces evenly with the marinade. Let the tempeh slices marinate for 5-10 minutes.

Spread the tempeh slices in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, making sure they don’t overlap.

Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes, then flip the slices over using tongs or a spatula.
