  • 4 heads Baby bok choy
  • 3 cloves Garlic
  • 3 tablespoons Coconut aminos
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon Avocado oil
  • 0.5 teaspoons Sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame seeds
  • 2 cups Water (for steaming)

Directions

Step 1

Thoroughly rinse the baby bok choy under cold water, ensuring all dirt and grit are removed. Cut them in half lengthwise and set aside.

Peel and finely mince the garlic cloves.

Step 3

Fill a medium-sized pot with 2 cups of water and place a steamer basket on top. Ensure the basket sits above the water level to prevent soggy vegetables.

Bring the water to a boil over medium heat. Once boiling, place the bok choy halves cut side up into the steamer basket, then reduce the heat to medium-low. Cover with a lid and steam for 6-8 minutes, or until the bok choy stalks are tender but still slightly crisp.
