  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp Ground cumin
  • 1 tsp Sea salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper
  • 4 buns Almond flour buns (Paleo-friendly)
  • 1 whole Avocado, sliced
  • 0.5 cup Red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 medium Tomato, sliced
  • 4 leaves Butter lettuce
  • 1 whole Jalapeño, sliced (optional)
  • 0.25 cup Homemade Paleo mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Lime juice
  • 0.25 cup Fresh cilantro leaves

Directions

Step 1

Start by marinating the steak: In a small bowl, combine coconut aminos, olive oil, minced garlic, smoked paprika, ground cumin, sea salt, and black pepper. Rub the mixture evenly over the steak and let it marinate for 15–30 minutes at room temperature.

Step 2

Heat a cast-iron skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, cook the steak for 3–4 minutes per side for medium-rare, or longer if desired. Remove from heat, cover loosely with foil, and let the steak rest for 5 minutes before slicing thinly against the grain.
