Ingredients

  • 250 grams shrimp
  • 2 tablespoons coconut aminos
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 2 tablespoons green onions, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons coconut flour
  • 1 cup arrowroot starch
  • 0.5 cup water, warm
  • 1 large egg
  • 0.5 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Directions

Step 1

Peel and devein shrimp, then chop finely.

Step 2

In a mixing bowl, combine chopped shrimp, coconut aminos, minced ginger, chopped green onions, minced garlic, sesame oil, and a pinch of sea salt. Mix well and set aside.

Step 3

In a separate bowl, prepare the wonton wrappers by combining coconut flour, arrowroot starch, warm water, egg, and a pinch of sea salt. Knead into a smooth dough.

Step 4

Divide the dough into small balls, then roll each ball on a lightly floured surface into a thin disk about 3 inches in diameter.

Step 5

Place about 1 teaspoon of the shrimp mixture in the center of each dough disk.

Step 6

Fold the disk over the filling to form a half-moon shape, pressing the edges together to seal.

Step 7

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Step 8

Place wontons in the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until they are golden brown and the shrimp is cooked through.

Step 9

Remove from skillet and serve immediately.
