  • 2 cups almond flour
  • 1 cup tapioca flour
  • 0.5 cup coconut oil
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon cold water
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium, chopped onion
  • 2 cloves, minced garlic
  • 1 medium, grated carrot
  • 1 cup, finely chopped mushrooms
  • 2 tablespoons coconut aminos
  • 1 teaspoon, chopped fresh rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon, chopped fresh thyme
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 for egg wash beaten egg

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Step 2

In a large bowl, combine almond flour and tapioca flour.

Step 3

Melt coconut oil and let it cool slightly. Add it to the flour mixture along with one large egg and cold water.

Mix until a dough forms, then knead lightly.

Step 5

Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.

While the dough is chilling, prepare the filling. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain any excess fat.
