Ingredients

  • 500 g ground beef
  • 60 g almond flour
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 medium, finely chopped yellow onion
  • 3 minced garlic cloves
  • 2 tbsp, chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp coconut aminos

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, almond flour, egg, chopped onion, minced garlic, parsley, dried oregano, dried basil, sea salt, black pepper, and coconut aminos.

Step 3

Mix all the ingredients gently using your hands or a large spoon until thoroughly combined but not overmixed.

Step 4

Using your hands, shape the mixture into golf ball-sized beef balls, about 1.5 inches in diameter, and place them on the prepared baking sheet.

Step 5

Drizzle the beef balls with the extra virgin olive oil to help them brown nicely while cooking.

Step 6

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the beef balls are browned and cooked through.

Step 7

Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving.

Step 8

Serve these savory beef balls warm, garnished with extra parsley if desired.
