Ingredients

  • 14 ounces canned salmon, drained and flaked
  • 0.5 cup almond flour
  • 1 large egg
  • 0.25 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon sea salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine the canned salmon, almond flour, egg, parsley, green onions, lemon juice, garlic powder, onion powder, sea salt, and black pepper.

Step 2

Mix the ingredients thoroughly until they are well incorporated and form a consistent mixture that can be shaped.

Step 3

Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, approximately 1/2 inch thick.

In a large skillet over medium heat, add the coconut oil and let it melt and coat the pan evenly.

Once the oil is hot, place the salmon patties in the skillet, searing them until they are golden brown on one side, about 4-5 minutes.
