  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 0.5 teaspoon sea salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 12 small romaine lettuce leaves
  • 150 grams cherry tomatoes, diced
  • 1 medium avocado, sliced
  • 1 lime, cut into wedges
  • 30 grams fresh cilantro leaves, chopped

Directions

Step 1

Heat the coconut oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Step 2

Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until the onions become translucent.

Step 3

Add the ground beef to the skillet. Cook and stir until the beef is browned and no longer pink, approximately 5-7 minutes.
