Ingredients

  • 500 grams Frozen green peas
  • 2 tablespoons Coconut oil
  • 1 medium Onion, finely chopped
  • 2 Garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 inch Ginger, minced
  • 1 medium Tomato, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Garam masala
  • 0.5 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon Red chili powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice

Directions

Step 1

Heat the coconut oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Step 2

Add the cumin seeds and let them sizzle for about 30 seconds until they start to release their aroma.

Add the chopped onion to the skillet and sauté for 3-4 minutes until translucent.

Stir in the minced garlic and ginger, and cook for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Add the chopped tomato and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the tomatoes soften and release their juices.
