First, peel the bottle gourd and cut it into small cubes. Set aside.
Heat coconut oil in a pan over medium heat. Once hot, add cumin seeds and let them sizzle for a few seconds until aromatic.
Add the chopped onion to the pan and fry till they turn golden brown.
