  • 3 pounds beef chuck roast

  • 2 cups beef broth

  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 0.5 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup banana peppers, sliced
  • 8 almond flour bread, slices
  • 2 tablespoons ghee

Directions

Step 1

Preheat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil.

Season the beef chuck roast with salt and pepper. Brown the roast on all sides in the skillet, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove the roast and place it in a slow cooker.
