Ingredients

  • 500 ml Filtered water
  • 2 pieces Green tea bags
  • 2 tablespoons Raw honey
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh lemon juice
  • 5 pieces Fresh mint leaves
  • 1 cup Ice cubes

Directions

Step 1

Boil the filtered water in a kettle or on the stove.

Step 2

Once boiled, pour the hot water over the green tea bags in a heatproof pitcher or large mug.

Step 3

Let the tea steep for 3 to 4 minutes for a mild tea, or up to 5 minutes if you prefer it stronger. Do not over-steep to prevent bitterness.

Step 4

Remove the tea bags and stir in the raw honey until fully dissolved.

Step 5

Add the fresh lemon juice to the tea and stir well.

Step 6

Allow the tea to cool to room temperature, or place the pitcher in the refrigerator for quicker cooling.
