Ingredients

  • 4 pieces chicken breasts
  • 2 large yellow onions
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

Step 2

In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, dried oregano, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper.

Place the chicken breasts in a large resealable bag or a shallow dish and pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring all pieces are well coated. Marinate for at least 30 minutes to 1 hour in the refrigerator, turning occasionally.

While the chicken is marinating, peel the onions and slice them into thick rings, about half an inch thick.
