  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Peel the sweet potatoes and cut them into thin slices, approximately 1/8 inch thick, resembling chips. Thinner slices will result in crispier potatoes.

In a large skillet or frying pan, heat the coconut oil over medium heat. Test if the oil is ready by dropping a small piece of sweet potato into it. If it sizzles and rises to the surface, the oil is hot enough.
