Ingredients

  • 500 grams Beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 3 tablespoons Coconut aminos
  • 2 tablespoons Sesame oil
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 medium Onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 medium Red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 200 grams Broccoli florets
  • 1 medium Carrot, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons Avocado oil
  • 2 stalks Green onions, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame seeds
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper

Directions

Step 1

In a medium bowl, combine the sliced beef with coconut aminos, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Mix well to coat the beef and let it marinate for at least 10 minutes.

Step 2

While the beef is marinating, prepare the vegetables by slicing the onion, red bell pepper, and carrot. Also, cut the broccoli into bite-sized florets.

Step 3

Heat a large wok or skillet over medium-high heat and add 1 tablespoon of avocado oil.

Step 4

Once the oil is hot, add the onion and cook for 2 minutes until it starts to soften.

Step 5

Increase the heat to high and add the marinated beef. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until the beef is browned but not fully cooked through.

Step 6

Remove the beef and onion from the wok and set aside.

In the same wok, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of avocado oil.

Add the red bell pepper, broccoli, and carrot to the wok. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.

Return the beef and onion back to the wok. Stir everything together and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the beef is fully cooked.

Step 10

Season with salt and black pepper. Adjust to taste.

Remove from heat and garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
