Ingredients

  • 500 grams Ground beef, preferably grass-fed
  • 60 grams Almond flour
  • 1 unit Large egg
  • 1 medium Onion, finely chopped
  • 2 units Garlic cloves, minced
  • 30 grams Fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 400 grams Crushed tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, almond flour, egg, chopped onion, minced garlic, chopped parsley, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper.

Step 3

Mix the ingredients together using your hands until just combined, being careful not to over-mix to keep the meatballs tender.

Step 4

Form the meat mixture into approximately 12 meatballs, about the size of a golf ball, and set aside.

Step 5

In a large oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.

Step 6

Add the meatballs to the skillet, searing them on all sides until browned, which takes about 5-7 minutes.

Step 7

Once browned, pour the crushed tomatoes over the meatballs and gently stir to coat them evenly.

Step 8

Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake the meatballs for 20-25 minutes, until they are cooked through.

Step 9

Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and serve the meatballs with your favorite Paleo-friendly sides, such as zucchini noodles or cauliflower rice.
