Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground beef
  • 0.5 cup Almond flour
  • 1 large Egg
  • 0.5 cup Onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Coconut aminos
  • 2 tablespoons Parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Oregano, dried
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil

Directions

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease with olive oil.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, almond flour, egg, finely chopped onion, minced garlic, coconut aminos, chopped parsley, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper.

Step 3

Using your hands or a spoon, mix the ingredients until they are well combined but not overworked.

Step 4

Scoop about 1 1/2 tablespoons of the meat mixture and roll it into a ball between your palms. Place the meatball onto the prepared baking sheet. Repeat with the remaining mixture, spacing the meatballs evenly apart.

Step 5

Drizzle olive oil over the top of the meatballs or brush them lightly with oil for added flavor and browning.

Step 6

Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the meatballs are browned and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 160°F or 71°C).

Step 7

Once cooked, remove the meatballs from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.

Step 8

Serve the meatballs warm, garnished with extra chopped parsley if desired, and paired with your favorite Paleo-friendly sauce or side dish.
