Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon chipotle chili powder

  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 head romaine lettuce
  • 1 large avocado
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes
  • 0.5 cup red onion
  • 0.25 cup cilantro
  • 1 medium lime
  • 1 optional jalapeno

Directions

Step 1

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it apart with a spatula, until it is browned and cooked through, about 8-10 minutes.

Step 2

Add the chipotle chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper to the cooked beef. Stir well to combine and let the spices cook with the beef for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Remove the skillet from heat and set aside.
