Cut the chicken breasts into thin strips about 1/2 inch wide.
In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, lime juice, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper to make the marinade.
Place the chicken strips in a Ziploc bag or shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken, making sure to coat all pieces evenly. Marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
