Ingredients

  • 1.5 pounds Grass-fed ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons Coconut aminos
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Avocado oil
  • 1 sliced Tomato
  • 1 sliced Red onion
  • 8 pieces Butter lettuce leaves
  • 0.5 cup Homemade Paleo BBQ sauce

Directions

Step 1

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, coconut aminos, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly but do not overwork the meat.

Step 2

Divide the meat mixture into four equal parts and form into patties, making a slight indentation in the middle of each patty to ensure even cooking.

Step 3

Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat and lightly oil it with avocado oil to prevent the patties from sticking.

Step 4

Place the beef patties on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or longer until they reach your desired doneness.

Step 5

Once the patties are cooked, remove them from the grill and let them rest for a couple of minutes.

Step 6

Arrange the butter lettuce leaves on plates, using two leaves per burger to form a sturdy 'bun'.

Step 7

On each lettuce bun, place a burger patty, followed by a slice of tomato, a few rings of red onion, and a generous drizzle of homemade Paleo BBQ sauce.

Step 8

Serve immediately and enjoy your Paleo Charbroiled BBQ Burgers!
