Ingredients

  • 1 pound beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil
  • 1 large carrot, julienned
  • 1 small head green cabbage, shredded
  • 2 large zucchini, spiralized
  • 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 medium green bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 0.25 cup coconut aminos
  • 2 teaspoons fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 stalks green onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds, toasted

Directions

Step 1

Heat 1 tablespoon of coconut oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Step 2

Add the thinly sliced beef and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.

Step 3

In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of coconut oil.

Step 4

Add the julienned carrot, shredded cabbage, spiralized zucchini, sliced onion, and sliced green bell pepper. Stir-fry for about 5 minutes until the vegetables begin to soften.

Step 5

Add the minced ginger and garlic to the skillet. Stir well and cook for another minute until fragrant.

Step 6

Return the cooked beef to the skillet with the vegetables.

Step 7

In a small bowl, mix together the coconut aminos, fish sauce, apple cider vinegar, and black pepper. Pour this sauce mixture over the beef and vegetable mix.

Step 8

Stir everything together and cook for another 2-3 minutes to allow the flavors to meld and the sauce to coat the ingredients.

Step 9

Remove from heat, garnish with chopped green onions and toasted sesame seeds before serving.

Step 10

Serve hot and enjoy your Paleo Beef Yakisoba!
