Ingredients

  • 1 pound beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 0.25 cup coconut aminos
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 large red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 large carrot, julienned
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 3 stalks green onions, sliced
  • 0.25 cup almonds, slivered
  • 1 whole lime, juiced
  • 0.25 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 0.5 teaspoon sea salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper

Directions

Step 1

In a medium bowl, combine sliced beef with 1 tablespoon of sesame oil, coconut aminos, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Allow to marinate while preparing the vegetables.

Step 2

Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the remaining 1 tablespoon of sesame oil.

Step 3

Add the beef to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for 2-3 minutes or until the beef begins to brown. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Step 4

In the same skillet, add broccoli florets, red bell pepper, carrot, and mushrooms. Stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes or until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
