Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons coconut aminos
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 cup tapioca flour
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 0.5 teaspoon sea salt
  • 3 tablespoons coconut oil, melted
  • 0.5 cup water

Directions

Step 1

In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, coconut aminos, grated ginger, minced garlic, chopped green onions, and sesame oil. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly combined. Set aside to marinate for at least 10 minutes.

Step 2

In another bowl, prepare the dough by combining tapioca flour, almond flour, and sea salt. Mix thoroughly.

Step 3

Add melted coconut oil to the flour mixture and gradually stir in the water until a dough forms. The dough should be soft but not sticky. If it's too dry, add a bit more water slowly.

Step 4

Divide the dough into small balls (approximately 1 tablespoon each) and roll each ball out into a small circle on a floured surface.

Step 5

Place about 1 teaspoon of the beef filling onto the center of each dough circle.

Step 6

Carefully fold the dough over the filling to create a half-moon shape, then press the edges together to seal the dumpling completely. You can use a fork to crimp the edges if desired.

Step 7

Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add a small amount of coconut oil.

Step 8

Place the dumplings in the skillet in a single layer, making sure they don't touch, and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown and crispy.

Step 9

Serve the dumplings warm, optionally with additional coconut aminos for dipping.
