Ingredients

  • 2 large Sweet potatoes
  • 1 cup Cauliflower florets
  • 1 medium, grated Carrot
  • 0.5 cup Almond flour
  • 1 teaspoon, grated Ginger
  • 1 small, finely chopped Green chili
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Coconut oil
  • 8 large Lettuce leaves
  • 1 medium, sliced Tomato
  • 1 small, sliced Red onion

Directions

Step 1

Peel and chop the sweet potatoes into cubes. Boil them in water until they are soft, about 10 minutes, then drain the water and allow them to cool slightly.

Step 2

Steam the cauliflower florets until tender, about 5 minutes, then mash them along with the boiled sweet potatoes in a large mixing bowl.

Step 3

Add the grated carrot, almond flour, grated ginger, chopped green chili, cumin powder, coriander powder, and salt to the potato mixture. Mix well to form a dough-like consistency.

Step 4

Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions and form each portion into a patty about 1/2 inch thick.

Step 5

Heat the coconut oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Cook each patty for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.

Step 6

Prepare the burger by placing each aloo tikki patty between two large lettuce leaves. Add a slice of tomato and some red onion slices before serving.

Step 7

Serve the Paleo Aloo Tikki Burgers immediately, while the patties are warm and crispy.
