Ingredients

  • 500 grams sweet potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 large tomato
  • 2 medium green chilies
  • 1 inch ginger
  • 3 pieces garlic cloves
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons fresh coriander leaves
  • 1 cup water

Directions

Step 1

Peel the sweet potatoes and cut them into 1-inch cubes. Set aside.

Finely chop the onion, tomato, green chilies, ginger, and garlic cloves.

In a large pan, heat coconut oil over medium heat. Add mustard seeds and cumin seeds. Allow them to crackle for about 30 seconds.
