Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2

In a medium-sized bowl, mix together the almond flour, ground flaxseed, salt, garlic powder, and onion powder until well combined.

Step 3

In a small bowl, whisk the egg until it is fully beaten.

Step 4

Add the whisked egg and olive oil to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms. You may use your hands to combine everything thoroughly.

Step 5

Place the dough between two sheets of parchment paper and use a rolling pin to roll it out to about 1/8 inch thickness.

Step 6

Peel off the top layer of parchment paper, and using a sharp knife or a pizza cutter, cut the rolled-out dough into squares of your desired size.

Step 7

Carefully transfer the crackers onto the prepared baking sheet. You may need to use a spatula to lift them from the parchment paper.

Step 8

Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges of the crackers are golden brown.

Step 9

Remove the baking sheet from the oven and let the crackers cool completely on a wire rack.

Step 10

Once cooled, store the crackers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week.
