  • 3 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Dried thyme
  • 1 Lemon
  • 4 Garlic cloves
  • 3 Fresh rosemary sprigs

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

Step 2

Rinse the chicken inside and out under cold running water, and pat it dry with paper towels.

Step 3

Place the chicken on a cutting board and tuck the wing tips under the body.

Step 4

In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and dried thyme.

Zest the lemon and add the zest to the bowl, then cut the lemon in half and set aside.
