Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken tenders
  • 0.5 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1.5 cups panko breadcrumbs
  • 0.25 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0 cooking spray
  • 0.25 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon honey

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray.

Step 2

Set up a breading station with three shallow bowls. In the first bowl, place the flour. In the second bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk. In the third bowl, mix the panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

Step 3

Pat the chicken tenders dry with a paper towel. Dredge each chicken tender first in the flour, then dip it into the egg mixture, and finally coat it thoroughly in the breadcrumb mixture. Press the breadcrumbs onto the chicken to ensure they adhere well.

Step 4

Place the breaded chicken tenders onto the prepared baking sheet. Spray the tops lightly with cooking spray to help them crisp up in the oven.

Step 5

Bake the chicken fingers in the preheated oven for 20–25 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until they are golden brown and reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).

Step 6

While the chicken fingers are baking, prepare the honey mustard sauce. In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and honey until smooth and well combined.

Step 7

Serve the hot chicken fingers with the honey mustard dipping sauce on the side. Enjoy!
