  • 4 cups chicken or vegetable broth
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 4 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon chili garlic sauce
  • 1 teaspoon white pepper
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 200 grams tofu, cubed
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil

Directions

Step 1

Heat the vegetable oil in a large pot over medium heat.

Step 2

Sauté the minced garlic and ginger until fragrant, about 1 minute.

Add the julienned carrots, sliced shiitake mushrooms, and bamboo shoots. Cook for 3-4 minutes until slightly softened.
