Ingredients

  • 4 cups Powdered sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Pure vanilla extract

Directions

Step 1

Ensure all ingredients are at room temperature before beginning. Remove the butter from the fridge at least 30 minutes beforehand.

In a large mixing bowl, beat the unsalted butter with an electric mixer on medium speed until smooth, creamy, and fluffy, about 2–3 minutes.

Gradually add the powdered sugar, about 1/2 cup at a time, mixing on a low speed to avoid creating a cloud of sugar. Once all the powdered sugar is incorporated, increase the mixer speed to medium and beat for another 2 minutes.
